The accommodation rate that a resident pays at our Homes is based on the Ministry of Health’s Policy. The local Home and Community Case Manager will determine your rate based on your income. The rate is 80% of a resident’s after tax income as determined by the Case Manager.
The accommodation rate covers care, room, meals, and personal laundry.
Payment of the accommodation rate is due on the first day of each month. Payments can be dropped off or paid during regular business hours at our Reception office. The office is open Monday to Friday 10 am – 3 pm excluding statutory holidays.
Each resident is also charged a monthly $10.00 activity fee. This activity fee is given to Residents' Council and is used at their discretion and approval for the comfort and activities of our residents.
The resident rooms are equipped with a cable outlet. The cost of basic cable is an extra charge, however it is at a reduced group rate. The hookup of telephone and a digital box for the TV in each individual room is the cost and responsibility of the resident.
